This draft will the most boring draft in the history of all sports. I don't see the potential for one single Hall of Fame player at all.

My recollection is that most of the drafts had Singler slotted the same as Patterson, in the 10-15 range.

 

 

Really? Then yeah, he messed up bad considering he didn't show up for 95% his senior season. That would explain his stock falling so much.

A stud PG can make a team alot better though and quickly. CP3, DRose, and the Nets will be mch improved next year with DWill for an entire year. I don't see Williams becoming a star at the next level, too much of a tweener.

 

 

I agree completely. If I am completely rebuilding after an explosion, like Cleveland is, I am starting with a guy who should have a pretty solid career as an NBA point guard in KI. Especially when Baron Davis is my starting point guard. And if Kanter is there at 4 I don't see how Cleveland can pass on him either. What better way to rebuild than with a pg and center picked in the top 5?

I see it going...1) Cleveland: Irving, 2) Minnesota: Williams, 3) Utah: Knight, 4) Cleveland: Kanter

I'd be really disappointed in Cleveland if they passed on Irving. I could see them doing it for Williams though, hoping he can play the 3 and be the next LeBron.

I would love to have seen some team get 2 of the top 4 in one of the deep drafts. Imagine if someone had #1 and #4 in the '03 draft that included Lebron, 'Melo, Bosh and Wade. Or imagine the '84 draft when a team could have possibly snagged two of the trio of Hakeem, MJ and Sir Charles. Of course, you never know how these guys will develop. The Cavs might strike gold with their two picks.

Not in the lottery, but just saw a mock draft that had the Thunder selecting Kenneth Faried in the 1st round. Don't think you could find a more perfect fit for either IMO.
