No one seems to be talking about the 1-2 combo of Kyle Fuller and Nick Ritter from Holy Cross. Both guys really have it going right now for the stretch run.

 

Yesterday Fuller beats Dixie 3-0 to improve his record to 7-0 on the year and lower his ERA down to around 1.00.

As I mentioned in another thread, why is everyone making such a big deal out of Holy Cross? Of their 18 wins, 10 are by run rule, so I ask, are they that good or is their schedule just not very difficult????

What are the dates of the 9th region tourney? That can have an impact. If you're a team like Holy Cross you wish for 3 days in a row. If you're Dixie you hope for a lot of rain in between games.

 

IMO you have to look at the teams that have a strong 1 and 2. Boone, Holy Cross, maybe NCC, maybe CCH maybe BW meet that requirement.
