I totally agree with xtrabasehit. On a broken leg, Curley dominated the entire season. He will be the best pitcher in the state by the end of the season. He might even end up getting drafted. And after hearing what happened to his sister, you have to wish him luck because he deserves it.

Yes, chris has recovered and is working out and preparing for this upcoming season. By not playing football, it really gave his leg a chance to heal up. I see great things for the Beechwood Tigers this year.

Josh Bleser will be one of the top pitchers this year. He's only a junior and has all of last year under his belt, including pitching in the districts and regionals. Curley has a year on him, so he will probably be a little better than Bleser. Don't underestimate Bleser this year.

Josh beat Beechwood....He is a very good pitcher, but I wouldn't compare him to Curley.

Curley is an excellent pitcher. He has a year on Bleser, so he is probably better right now. But give Bleser another year and compare him to Curley now and you'll find they will be about equal in talent.

This thread is for top 10 pitchers in the State. All though I believe Bleser is one of the tops in the 9th, I still think he has some work to do to be considered top 10 in the state.

There is a pretty impressive pitcher in Owsley County. His name is Robert Smith. Owsley Co will not get a lot of College scout coverage, but this boy can throw the ball. He is also extremely "smooth" in the field. I feel he is a good Division 1 prospect.

If he is good enough, he will be seen. Tell him to attend all the camps that he can, it can only help.

Humphrey is a good pitcher, but i dont believe he comes near the top ten in the state. Maybe if he takes Ryle out of there district this year single handedly you can look like that but not now for him.
