I have heard he may be allowed to keep his admin. job and coach if he wants it. Don't know if he wants it as bad as his old coach Randy Ward does but who knows.

That's interesting, my son plays AAU for him and he's not once mentioned it in all the conversations we have had about GC basketball. You think he'd know he was a candidate.

 

Of course maybe he just hasn't told me.

What about Jeff Davis at Simom Kenton? VERY good coach! The kids who he has coached at every level and in the spring and summer REALLY like him! In watching his teams, I would love to play for a coach like him!

Since Randy Ward's name is being mentioned by just about everyone, I wonder just how many people will/did actually apply. No one wants to apply just for status quo if the decision has already been made. No fools here ya know

Jeff is a great person and coach, any school would benifit from getting him.

I am sure he likes it there, but he has been an assistant too long.

I have an update from a source that says there are 3 candidates under serious consideration. One is a Mason asst., the other a former coach at Male, and the third is last years assistant. Pretty solid source on this one also.

I believe the 30 day posting is up on June 5th or 6th. They cannot announce the new new coach until then.
