Well the decision has been made but I dont want to be the one to let the cat out of the bag. I think the announcement will be official tomorrow. Lloyd fans will not be disappointed..

No they will not be disappointed, they just landed a great coach, with the energy they need and the knowledge to bring them back to the days of old. If they will let him surround himself with some good coaches, they will wins alot of ball games. Best of luck to Lloyd and I will be rooting hard for them next year

Well said BRAVES1 I dont know the individual personally but a close friend of mine does plus got to see him in action...Can't wait! GO JUGGS..Oh by the way, I hope he brings back Coach Wilmhoff!

As of last night all interviews have been completed and a person should be named by tomorrow hopefully, yes Dave Smith known to most Smitty has done temendous job keeping the players active and working out if not running track or playing baseball. He is a great person and good coach. JD

Wow, the guy hasn't even been named and he should keep the old staff? If this guy has been coaching at a local high school then Im sure he has coaches in mind. BRAVES1 said it best, IF he is allowed to choose his own staff, this guy needs to blow this thing up, start new. And DRKARK I hope he brings back Coach Wilmhoff!!

I was just curious if it would be difficult to assemble a staff (you never know what teaching jobs will open in a school, and it seems funding is tight for new positions in most states) and if some of those guys were willing to help. Is there a problem with the old staff?

Josh Stratton has been named head coach. He was an assistant at Holmes for the last two seasons.

I heard the same last night Josh Stratton from Holmes and I also heard he is very good. I am happy for all the players as they have been waiting patiently. I do hope he brings back Coach Smith and Coach Wilmhof. I have also heard that Lloyd has teaching positions open at the present time. I wish Coach Stratton the best and he can start to rebuild the program. JD
