March 20, 201115 yr Final. How much money could you have made in Vegas betting on UC getting 26 wins this season?
March 20, 201115 yr Author The Kemba/Jimmer debate is one of the better ones we've seen in quite a while.
March 20, 201115 yr Great season for the Bearcats. Need to continue on with this next season for it to me anything. Can't take a step forward and two steps back. Well see if Gates sticks to his guns and comes back next year.

He can them come back, work on those areas, show consistency and then have a chance at getting paid.

I'm not sure where the "experts" have his draft stock but as of now he is not a 1st round pick so he should probably come back. If he does the right things and works on his game he could be a lottery pick in the future.
March 20, 201115 yr Great season for the Bearcats. Hope Mick gets his extension and the fans return. Going in the right direction.
March 20, 201115 yr Great performance by Kemba. He made a play every time UConn needed him. Also a great effort by UC, just didn't have enough weapons to keep up down the stretch. Gates, Dixon, Cash, Kilpatrick and Jackson is a solid core going in to next season. Hopefully they can maintain the progress that happened this season...
March 20, 201115 yr Congratulations to the Bearcats and its fans on a great season. UC definitely needs to do whatever it has to do to keep Cronin; if he stays, I don't see nothing but better things happening for them.

Any truth to the rumor that UK & UC are playing each other in the Big East/SEC Challenge next year? I've heard it's either that matchup or UK/Syracuse in the Garden.

March 21, 201115 yr Just a rumor at this point, but one I would love to see happen. Just people guessing at match ups before the conferences have even started working on how the event will play out... I'd like it too, but at the same time, I like UK playing in the Garden every other year or so. Especially if next year's team shapes up to be the kind I imagine, I want UK in the Garden against one of the Big East's best. Who do you see being the top 2-3 teams from the conference next season?
March 21, 201115 yr Who do you see being the top 2-3 teams from the conference next season? Cuse would certainly be in that mix, but overall it is tough to say at this point. Going to be another year similar to this one it would seem. A lot of really solid teams, but not the sure fire 1st Round NBA types that change big games. UC returns their top 4 scorers, but the depth provided by the SR class will be replaced by talented but untested rookies. UConn has had freshman and sophomores step up big, but how will they do without Kemba. UL should be strong, but Pitino isn't one to showcase freshman, so again the depth will be in question. Lavin will have a roster with 1 returning player that mattered, and he faded to nothing over the last 6 weeks. Pitt will be built for regular season success, but we know how that has gone in March. Just a million questions and not many answers when looking at the league next year...
