Anyone who was at that game will not forget that finish. What a game it was!

This was the most amazing district basketball game I have ever witnessed. Harrison county was up 19 in the fourth quarter.

Mason Monroe struggled through 3 quarters, as did the entire Pendleton County team. Coach Chad Simms got a technical with about 5 minutes remaining in the game, and this put Harrison up 19 I believe. From then on, it was all Pendleton County. Pendleton tied the game with 40 second to go on a pair of Mason Monroe free throws, for their first tie of the game. Nick Slucher for Harrison County promptly knocked down a jumper from the short corner with 2.8 seconds left on the clock. The rest is history.

I am honestly still in shock over this game. I have never witnessed a comeback or ending to a game like this one. Pendleton's first lead of the game was on the buzzer-beater by Antrobus. Monroe and Antrobus combined for 25 points on the night, 23 of them coming in the 4th quarter.

Down 15 points heading into the fourth quarter, Pendleton County scored 34 points and rallied for a 61-60 victory against host Harrison County in the 38th District finals.

Harrison County's Nick Slusher scored from the baseline to put the Thorobreds up 60-58, but Pendleton County's Gabe Antrobus hit a game-winning three-pointer with 2.8 seconds left.

Mason Monroe, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, scored 14 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter, and was 8-for-8 from the free-throw line in the period. Antrobus had nine points.

Harrison County struggled from the line, going 11-for-24 in the final quarter. Dillion Pulliam, a freshman, scored 28 points, including six three-pointers, for the Thorobreds.

HOOPDR, you know by now that I never congratulate PC on anything, well am taking all that back, two big time wins for the Wildcats. Truly hope they draw Augusta in region like old times, but PC and CC would also be good game. Off the subject somewhat, but were you surprised by Deming's strategy in the game this week? The ones I've talked to want to see Johnson's ouster after that game, ala like Mason County did to Coach Butcher after his coaching debacle against Bracken County in the girls game. Did PC play Augusta and CC this season and how did they do? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they lost to both teams. CC game was closer than Augusta if I remember correctly.

Great video, this would have to be one of the most exciting moments for PC FANS!!! This is why KY high school basketball is the greatest show on earth.

That video reveals the incredible excitement of that game, while at the same time giving me major motion sickness.

Huge crowd man.
