Final for the 37th District.

Calvary Came to play tonight... Slowed the game down and actually led by four late in the second half... Time to get it right, Campbell County on Friday!

Wow, surprised the Eagles only won by 10.

Me too, but a win at this point is good, no matter how close it is.

Tell me about it.

Congratulations ot Coach Rex Brooking and his Cougars!!!

They played a whale of a game against Scott in the 37th District semi-finals.

Tucker Glass (17) raised some eyebrows among the coaches assembled on VIP row, as well as how hard the Calvary kids played.

This team has come light years since the beginning of the season, and IF they were all Juniors instead of all seniors they would be making a serious run for the 2012 "A" and would be a legitimate contender in the district. Since they are seniors and not juniors they will have this game to hang their hat on, and remember the night when they wouldn't go away against Scott.

Reminded me a bit of how teams like Holy Cross and Boone County would play Holmes the past few years. It can be very affective as there is no shot clock in High School so a team that knows how to run it can make the game close.

My hat is off to the Cougars for making a game out of it. Hopefully Scott will play a bit better next game and take care of business against Campbell County.
