I was referring to Peterson and Mayfield who both played well in the first meeting between the two.

I sometimes confuse Mayfield and Hayes.

 

Peterson had 3 points. I'm guessing he must have contributed on the defensive end.

Dogs and Colonels meet Thursday night at Evans Fieldhouse for the 35th district championship.

 

Holmes comes in with a 20-10 record after beating Beechwood 83-78.

 

Covcath comes in 18-10 after beating Holy Cross 70-56.

 

Holmes won the regular season meeting 64-60 at Covcath.

 

This will be the 10th time these two have met in the district championship since 2000.

Correct. He hit a big baseline jumper at the buzzer heading in to the 4th quarter to stop a CCH run and give the Dogs some momentum.

 

His defense was outstanding on Baker. Very physical and "Waka" didn't like it at all.
