February 28, 201115 yr Wow! They were good. One thing that besides the food that is always spot on MI, is the service. Even thought the joint was rockin last night,service was impeccable.

March 1, 201115 yr Montgomery Inn's are good but I like Calhoun's better. Calhouns also has the best banana pudding in the world, but I usually hurt myself trying to eat it because the serving size is huge.

I had Calhouns ribs in Knoxville recently and was disappointed no smoke flavor at all and bland.

March 3, 201115 yr I don't know if this is still true, but a few years back Montgomery Inn Boathouse was one of the top 5 revenue producing restaurants in the nation. I wouldn't doubt it; they are one of the more established and profitable restaurants in the business.

They are looking to relocate that site, I hear they are trying to find a stand alone building or build one, possibly near the new area just west of the Reds stadium.
