Ballard (26-3) will take on Trinity(20-7) at 7:30 p.m. at Trinity in the opening round of the 27th District Boys Basketball Tournament

Your thoughts and predictions.

Trinity at Trinity will make it a good game. I'll take Trinity by 2 in the big upset.

My heart says Trinity but my brain says Ballard. Trinity did not look very good tonight against North Oldham. Hopefully they were looking ahead.

Ballard 67 - Trinity 53

I think Parker will be the difference. He is one smooth, fluid athlete. Ballard by 8-10 at Trinity.

I would so LOVE to see Trinity pull out this win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But if I had to call it...Ballard by 5.

I just can't imagine Ballard losing in the districts, but stranger things have happened. Having seen Ballard play and being really impressed with their athleticism - I am going with Ballard by 5 at trinity.

I'll take Ballard by 14. For me, it's hard to see Trinity keeping pace with them scoring wise-- since Christmas, they've only hit the 70 point mark twice (70 & 72). I know that much of this can be attributed to their pace, style of play, etc., but it's hard for me to envision Ballard not hitting a few big runs that will make it tough for Trinity to keep pace. When Hicks hits the floor next year, the 7th (and the rest of the state) should take notice, as scoring shouldn't be a problem.

Ballard has won both matchups this season by double figures I believe. I think the Bruins may be just a little too good for Trinity, but playing at home could make a huge difference.

I would love to listen to it to.

Hard to beat a good team three times in a season. Game at Trinity.

This could be a mild upset in the making.

Trinity has to score over 60 IMO to win.
