Oldham jumps out to a 10-0 lead, SK came back to take the lead briefly, then OC goes on a 16-6 run to end the half. Stats to follow.

Were you listening to Pegasus or 1160 tonight, Neerfan?

I listened to your broadcast, I wanted to hear the opposing angle. You guys do a good job. Coach Holland made a good point during his interview about holding Cody, Matt and Andrew to less than 30, Sampson had a rough night and Reilly didn't he even sniff the box score.

Nice win for OC.

It sure felt like SK missed more than 7 throws to me; felt like a big difference in the game.

Chambers lost a contact on this no call drive:

Impressed with the strength of OC's inside game.

Tough for SK to score inside.

Sounds like Chambers just couldn't get any help. That's really frustrating for him and his teammates I know.

In my estimation, OC did just enough. SK had difficulty handling the ball pressure of the Colonels from beginning to end. SK only went 8 deep and the front court continues to be a non factor offensively. OC got to the rim easily and missed a ton of close in shots that would have made the final margin much worse.

SK hasn't looked 'interested' since the AIT and Dixie. Not looking good heading into Districts, especially with WV playing well.

Thanks for the kind words, Neerfan! SK has some nice shooters...Chambers seems to be getting back into form. Thought Oldham's pressure on the ball and denial of the entry pass were big factors in the game.

NKYBandit is right - OC did just enough to win. Missed too many gimmes on the inside, but some of the misses were from Kerry Smith, who just returned to the lineup that night after dealing with a shoulder injury. Definitely looked rusty shooting the ball.

In fairness to both teams, I thought the intensity level on the court was high - and when two good teams battle in this way, sometimes the result isn't a pretty win for one of them. It was a real good challenge for both teams - Oldham's size up front vs. SK's quick perimeter players.

D-Series - I think I saw you before the game when I came to get Coach Holland for his pre-game interview...you were standing with him next to the baseball coach's office(??)...great pics!

Picture looks like to Oldham County defenders going straight up to me.

Looks like SK hung tough in the 2nd half. Should see both teams in a couple of weeks.
