Ryle is bonafide regional contender. Imagine if Sydney hadn't left Ryle- a bonafide #1 STATE contender

Can you elaborate on this statement and put it out there? of course not ;)

Miss moss is the primary one at nthis point, but with research I have heard of many others over the years. Many post last year particularly dealt with it. If you want I'm sure other BPGers could help me out with the other examples. In the mean time I'll research it myself.

No one wants that.

The ONLY reason this would be suitable for debate is if someone proclaimed that Boone won with girls that came up through the system in Florence. Otherwise, dead horse.

Amen to that!

Gotta agree with Clyde on this one. I am pretty sure Ryle fans aren't going to touch this one either.
Come on now, you know Coach Fookes would never "throw a game", particularly to Ryle!!!:lol:

Not sure any coach would throw a rivalry game or a game in general!

I'm sure Miss Moss is happy in her decision and I'm sure that Ryle is happy with the girls on their team. Dead horse keeps kicking every few months:) I agree with, time to move on.

Agreed. "That ship has sailed".

Syd is certainly happy with her decision. It has been an absolutely outstanding move for her, academically, socially, and athletically.

And you're right, it is a dead horse, but it keeps coming up because of the veiled (sometimes!) accusations of recruiting by Boone County from various posters. I don't believe that is true. I've seen similar accusations in WV, always against programs who win...........imagine that! I have always contended that good programs, with winning traditions, a great coach and person running the program, will attract talent. But I can only address one case with facts. Syd was not recruited in any way by Coach Fookes.

Syd's decision was about finding a new place to go to school and there was no contact at all with Coach Fookes until after the Boone County BOE declared her eligible to enroll at Boone County.

That would be a great research project! I'd love to see it myself. I'm not from NKY but I'm thinking such research should also include all schools since I'm betting all have had athletes that transferred in from other school districts.

Geez, could the Moderators please close this thread!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Crunch, where have you been since Friday?... it's no fun savoring our victory without you throwing a few darts at me... :)

I had bigger fish to fry my friend :)

As much as you and I go back-n-forth (all in fun) you know I wasn't surprised by the outcome of this game. Although you remind me more and more of a HHS FB fan with your posts...I still like ya! However, you do seem to have a little too much time on your hands and may need a hobby :)

Dead on my friend!

Just research BGP's because this subject has been hashed out on here many many times. Unfortunately, it's pretty subjective and many are considered transfers based of "where" they attend school OR the impact they have to the athletic program, but it's mostly whatever fits someone's argument at the time.

This would have to be a new topic and absolutely nothing good can come out of it, but have at it if you feel the need!
