Could a healthy RUSSELL be a contender? They seem to be healthy for the first time this season. Haven't been keeping up as much as I should this basketball season!

They are playing better for sure, Coach Kidwell is doing a nice job.

I was scanning the radio going down the road last week. Came across a Russell game. I heard coach Kidwell say that they were the healthest they had been all season. Something about they finally got a star player back! And that they were playing alot better as a team.

Russell lost in OT to Rowan after missing 5 freethrows down the stretch recently, dismantled Greenup and has a big test in Lewis for the #1 seed tomorrow at home. And yes they are finally able to have all the players on the court that started the season.

How in the world is West not mentioned in some of these post? They have beat Elliott twice including once at Elliott. They have split the season series with Rowan, including winning the later game on the schedule. They got beat by 5 by Ashland in the AIT. Put them at 4 if you have to but they are atleast worthy of mention.

Everyone needs to remember that West beat Elliott the second time when Ison was injured. In Elliotts win over Ashland, Ashland was without Chris Johnson. Both were close games.

I'm talking about the post that say it's Ashland and Rowan and then everyone else. Those two may end up in the region finals, but I don't think it would be a shocking upset if Elliott or West won the region.

Come on CATS, you know some of the predictions are folks who haven't seen them play, or at the minimum saw them in passing in the AIT. They laid an egg against Highlands after being gassed against Ashland the day before, didn't recover well. And you ARE a West homer, and it's okay!:lol:
