Noise Makers at Games

Featured Replies

Anytype of noisemaker should be banned - Or a special section made for people to sit in the parking lot and shake them. :D

Artificial noisemakers are not allowed at high school games while the ball is in play.

Artificial noise? ...everything's artificial nowdays. Nobody can make noise these days like grandma used to make.

I am against artificial noisemakers other than the band's instruments. Of course it depends on the sport and the venue as to the extend of nuisance. In outdoor sports, noisemakers are not nearly as annoying as an indoor sport. However, where does it stop? Why not take louder noisemakers to Mississippi State games....such as air horns, bigger cowbells, drums....where does it stop?

Saw one fan bring a car battery and Volkswagen horn, thank goodness that game was out of question in first quarter

I like them. I'm for making games as loud as possible. It's all about home court/field advantage.

What in the world would make you want to ring a Cowbell for 2 hours?

Ask any Mississippi State fan, though like me you might have a hard time getting it even then.

To each his own I guess. :idunno:

I hate all noise makers except the band. My one exception was a world cup game I went to. For some reason it seemed appropriate there. But I was at a game in southern Alabama once where everyone brought milk jugs with rocks in them. It was redneck heaven. I remember once in political science class when the professor said that laws/rules are made such that every person's individual rights end where the next person's begins. I think yo ushould have the right to NOT have a bell rung 2 feet away from you for 2 hours.
