Plenty of Rural schools have run the Air Raid with GREAT success. It's no different than ANY other offense, it's all in how you coach the little things. If they do that, they will have success.

He had plenty of success with it last year at Washington. co.

Guys, the personnel returning on the offensive side of the ball WILL NOT be able to run the type of offense that was ran at Washington County last year period! There will have to be a plan B offense that will become plan A immediately. Unless a triggerman enrolls at Grant County between now and opening kickoff 2011, that type of offense will not be successful against air!!!

I know teams that run it that do not give up many points at all. And, to answer you question, LCA won a State Championship a couple years ago running it.

They are in class a with athletes. Grant Co is in class aaaaa there is a big difference. How many other teams have one a state title with that offense. LCA had a good defense too. That is what I am trying to say is they hadbetter to be ready to play defense.

When you ask how many teams have have been successful running the offense are you talking strictly in KY? Cause if you are talking outside KY there are a number of teams. In KY the following teams have been in the state title game with some winning or have done well. LCA, Owensborough Catholic, Lone Oak, ETown, Henry County and it is my understanding Mayfield is a TFS client.

There are a tons of misconceptions about the "system". Not everyone runs the System the same. Just like not every wing t team is the same. It doesn't take much effort to find some real bad wing t teams and so real good wing t teams. Also how does one measure how good a defense is?

You are absolutely correct. I think many think it's just a sling the ball around offense.
