Assuming CCH plays man-to-man (that's what they do so I don't see them changing) the key will be to stop the dish off. My fear is that Holmes gets penetration, Drew Baker comes over to swat it away, and Holmes drops it off. A defender is going to have to step in front of Drew's man or it will be a long night for CCH.

I'd also expect to see Alex Connelly take a shot at Hayes in a man defense.

That is the only player CCH has that can check Hayes 1 on 1...but if you put him on Hayes, Jaleel Gray will have a HUGE night. It's really pick your own poison. The more I think about it, the more excited I get about this game.

Should be one heck of a match up.

I'm not intimately familiar with Holmes' roster. Is Gray the 3? 4? Inside guy? Shooter?

Gray plays the 2 or 3 depending on the personnel on the floor...he is more of a slashing guard at 6'2 but you'll see him take an occasional outside shot.

Is there a link where we can listen to this game tonight?

There was a link on the Cov Cath page for the game, but I just looked, and it is gone. So, I do not know. I hope it is though!

I watched Holmes against NCC and thought they struggled with their height/bulk. I see the same thing happening here. As long as Cov Cath doesn't allow a track meet to break out, their size carries the day.

Cov Cath - 67

Holmes - 59

The key here will be whether or not Knox and Rice stay out of foul trouble. In the NCC game Rice played all of about 4 minutes the first half and sat the last 12 minutes of the half with 2 fouls. Knox is small for a inside guy but he is thick and bangs pretty good and gets his share of boards. Peterson does a pretty good job inside but could get pushed around a little. I could see Holmes coach giving him more floor time with Knox and Rice and going with just 2 guards at times.

Does anybody know if this will be a triple header night?
