He is a very good player, and only a freshman at that. Should be fun to watch when he gets older.

I'm confused as to why Walton officials felt it was necessary for Simon Kenton students to be patted down as they entered the venue.

It's heated district game! In past games both student sections have had signs with very personal messages on them. My guess is that Walton wanted to stop all that.

Both students sections are very supportive of their teams. Last year, during the district finals at Walton, SK got a little personal with some signs and posters. This year during the 1st contest at SK the Walton student section got a little personal with some signs, and I believe some individuals were escorted out. I believe the administration just wanted to avoid any other problems. Both team's student sections cheered loud and were very supportive of their teams and it was great to see.

They weren't patted down!!! Where did you come up with this? Students (both schools) weren't permitted to bring signs into the gym but no one was patted down. They didn't play at the Greater Cincinnati Airport!

Just to clear things up, during the 1st game of the year SK also had a few signs that were a little innpropriate as well. I can't say who started it and it really doesn't matter, just making sure WV doesn't get all the blame for that game. You are correct though, both schools student sections are usually bigger for games between these two than any other regular season games of the year, and after being at both games and seeing how tight both were, I can understand why.

Brockman is the teams best defender.. If they blanked him withouit Brockman I doubt he would do a whole lot more if he had played. Once again, SK did win the game and I'm not trying to take anything away from that fact, I just think the outcome would have been different if Sullivan and Brockman played. But a win is a win and congrats to SK.

 

I wonder what the score would have been if SK had Nick Gray back.
