I mean the guy has an SEC scholarship right now to play basketball, if you can bring him in as a walk on you bring him in. Never know, not too many players are going to get to say they got four years under Calipari. Polson is D1 talent, he may not be high level D1 talent but he is D1. Give him all that time to grow and mature, add that with the player turnover from year to year, I could easily see Polson getting minutes as a Senior.

He's not D1 scholarship talent. He will be lucky if he turns into anything more than a mop-up player(which many of us would love to be).

Is that official? KSR reporting that it's not a done deal yet. As far as him just being a preferred walk on with a chance at a scholarship, you have to think this is only a good think for UK. A little depth from a PG who's had SEC experience, even if he has limited minutes, can only be beneficial.

This may be shocking to some but KSR doesn't break every UK story. And they aren't always right. After all, they thought Kanter would be playing about now.
