LLoyd's last trip to the ninth region tournament was in 2007, likely not as long a dry spell as some thought. Lost in the first round to St. Henry.

 

Which leads into, I'm not sure when Lloyd's previous win over the Cru was. I'm thinking maybe 2005, but that's a total guess. I don't even remember who won the game that year, much less if it's happened more recently.

The talent level right now at St Henry is obviously down. They are a scrappy bunch I hope they can salvage the season with some wins.

If my research is correct, the last time Lloyd beat St. Henry before this game was on February 10, 1999 at St Henry by the score of 69-40. Lloyd won the 34th District beating Scott at Scott and then proceeded to lose to Boone County in the Quarterfinals of the 9th Region Tournament.

I remember those mid-to-late 90's teams, they had some pretty good talent and some good teams then.

Im pretty sure St Henry will get another shot at Lloyd in the districts.....winner goes to Regionals. I'll take the CRU by then.
