January 10, 201115 yr A few repeats but my list of some things that drive me nuts.... - Ties that are too long - Ties that are too short - Cartoon, Logo, or any other novelty ties (seriously get rid of them!) - Hoodies with jeans and nice shoes (you are not dressed up) - White socks - Nice shirt, nice pants, and nice shoes topped off with a ball cap. You mean you never wear white socks?
January 10, 201115 yr Never, I even have black athletic socks. Just don't like them. Personal preference I guess! White socks with gym shoes isn't terrible. White socks with dress pants are just awful!
January 10, 201115 yr I am torn on many of these. I cross brand dress Nike Pro fit, Under Armour etc. I think about perception some, but at the same time do it intentionally because I dont want to look like a Jordan bill board decked out in the same atire. Jeans with tennis shoes are fine, not sure where this one ever got changed. Although I don't do it alot. With jeans I mainly go with the zipper harness boot. They are really comfortable and look great with jeans. I used to do the cowboy boot thing but you can wear the harness boot anywhere.
January 17, 201115 yr Zipper, belt buckle, shirt button line all in a row:) I'm an Air Force Veteran. Drill Sargeants always checked out our gig line in the morning inspection.
January 17, 201115 yr I'm an admitted "clothes horse" so I have a few fashion statements of my own. I like individuality so to each his or her own on their own personal style as long as you're tailored and your shoes are shined:) I have 70 plus pairs of shoes and boots and my biggest pet peeve is unshined shoes! I am a dress hat fan as well. along with cuff-links, pocket scarves and the right watch. During the summer I rarely wear socks unless I'm working. I still love the look of loafers, slacks or jeans, sport coat and no socks. I'm a fan of Rich Jaffe's look on Channel 12. My suggestion to anyone who needs a little help in the wardrobe dept. is ask someone who's style you admire of visit a Men's Warehouse, Brooks Brothers or Jos. A.Banks store and look around.
January 17, 201115 yr  Most of my guy friends think I'm crazy when it comes to fasion. Most of my girl friends think my guy friends should dress more like I do. :idunno: I like the side I'm on. Do you have a Spring Keeneland outfit? I've still got my Dawahares green slacks with blue whales on them! LOL!
January 18, 201115 yr Author Gig line , of course. That one drives me nuts when I see it. Zipper, belt buckle, shirt button line all in a row:) I'm an Air Force Veteran. Drill Sargeants always checked out our gig line in the morning inspection. My dad was a Marine , thus, it was not optional.

When I read that I said "Maybe CKS is a woman and I just assumed it was a dude." Later, I determined my initial thinking was correct.
January 18, 201115 yr Always check the zipper befor leaving the house . The four ages of man: You forget names. You forget faces. You forget to pull your zipper up. You forget to pull your zipper down.
January 18, 201115 yr Footnote to the above. The three ages of man: Tri-weekly. Try weekly. Try weakly.:cry:

Agree with most of these. But white socks driving you nuts is crazy unless you are talking about with dress pants. Also nice shoes with jeans??? How nice of shoes are you talking? There is nothing wrong with doing that
