Conner had the lead at half but the Camels shot very well in the 2nd half and hit their FTs.

 

Hodges fouled out for Conner having played a good game. I like his overall aggressiveness but when you're the main scorer you have to be smart as to when to be aggressive and when to back off. He HAS to stay on the floor for Conner to have a chance.

 

As my friend said "Conner showed some life" so that's a start.

Camels fought hard tonight. Brady Kennedy hit some big shots and the Camels played solid defense in the second half. I am excited about the Campbell-Lafayette matchup tomorrow. It will be fun to see former KY Elite players Jackson Davis, Snoop Johnson and Nate McGovney go against each other.

Conner seems to just keep falling down the rankings.

They are not usually this bad in the first 1/2 of the season. That's a guarantee that is pretty shaky.

No way, Boone Co will win the 33rd and Ryle should be runner up. Conner lacks guards that can handle pressure and their bigs are soft.

Conner has the guards to handle a press. Liechty and Flesch are very capable. The return of Byrns will help with this also. Hodges and Robinson are far from soft. They need to utilize their strengths. Once this team figures it out, they will be back on top of the polls. Do not count them out.
