Good game for the player... Bad game for the Refs... Really bad! It all came down to Free-Throws, Scott missed when they needed to make and HC made theirs... Too many bad decisions at the end of the game for Scott... Oh well, hopefully this will make them really want the next one!

We made more FTs than we have in the previous three games, but remember the score was 72-69 with :41.7 to play and stayed that score until that final shot. We must have missed about 5 FTs during that time.

But only 2 - 9 from the line is that correct?

2-9 is correct.

HC with 72 points in one game? Good to see the new style of play.

My guess is the 30 fouls called on Scott helped that. They were in the low 50's against Cooper Friday. Cooper may have had more to do with that though.

I think he just needs to slow down and take his time. It look to me he was rushing his shot from the line, but he played very good and strong game for Holy Cross.

What were the free throw stats for both teams?

It was crazy but a fun atmosphere... The students sections were fun to watch.

Going by the box score above

HC 21/36 58%

Scott 21/33 64%

Follow-up to this quote... I did not blame the refs for the loss... I'm entitled to my opinion on the Refs, I thought a lot was missed and some calls seemed to be anticipated but never took place... I can think of one Scott guard who plays great defense and he wasn't allowed to play close last night. If you were there you saw the phantom fouls. I know the gym is smaller than most and normally there would be three officials... But come on man!

We scored 71 against East Jessamine on Saturday while going 7-18 from the line, so we can score.

Also, Cooper was a result of shooting 35% from the field and 2-9 from the line.

The Finn is always rocking when the Finn Fanatics show up.

Scott is reeling, what is going on in Taylor Mill? Who is the 6'7 kid that seems to have caused distraction by walking off the court the other night? I was really surprised they got beat so bad the other night. I know Henry Clay is a very good team but still it was surprising.

He's their SR Center... He didn't just walk off, the coach sent him to the locker room. He's back now but not sure when He'll play again. The Henry Clay game was just one of those, 'can't do anything right' games. They shot bad, had a ton of turn-overs and just got out played. Everything was working out last night, just can't win games and miss that many freethrows at the end of games and a couple key turn-overs didn't help either.

Free Throw shooting was bad for both teams - McClendon and Walker for HC each missed 2 in the final 20 seconds that could have iced it.

HC 21-36 and Scott 21-33 from the line. Do kids today not practice free throws like they used to?
