Personally I'd love to see Coach Shannon here in Lexington. He would be a huge plus to the coaches and the kids.

Minter would make a lot of sense. Joker was on his staff at UC when Minter was the coach. Haven't heard anything either way, but there are ties to Minter...

I don't really understand why you'd need both of them as defensive coordinators, especially if they've never worked together, but I love the idea of adding them BOTH to the staff.

If that's how it plays out usually one handles the prep and planning and the other is the play caller. Will be interesting to see how it plays out and which one is given a position to coach as well...

Apparently Vaught backed off of his original statement... Now says Minter is the real hire. Hopefully GT is still hearing the same things he was earlier.
