TheLastDon
Must have missed the 92 finals game when I was looking.. makes sense tho that Alexander would have carried them there.. but still only 3 schools in 4 out of 23 years.. speaks for itself... Milfordflash
:thumb: Central is certainly doing things right and should be acknowledged. They definately have the best dance team in the state, all classes included.:eek:
RockPride
Same 3-0 score that St. X beat Trinity in the finals in 1997. Chp Mattingly recovered a Trinity fumble that resulted in a field goal to win. Harkens back to a time when teams played great defense. I like to think we still play great defense.....our offense was out of date at the time.
RockPride
Boone County was in the finals in 1994 with Mr. Kentucky, Shaun Alexander.....shocker they lost. You can't ride one horse to a title in the big boy class.

ladiesbballcoach
In the baseball playoffs, isn't the system setup that you meet the same regions/teams before the finals each and every year? There isn't a draw is there?
All Tell
No, in baseball the 16 regional champions now all play in Lexington and I think just like basketball the pairings are determined by a draw.

You're talking about the year they started 0-4 and won the State, I assume, and your quote is that of Coach Glaser?
