Same 3-0 score that St. X beat Trinity in the finals in 1997. Chp Mattingly recovered a Trinity fumble that resulted in a field goal to win. Harkens back to a time when teams played great defense.

 

I like to think we still play great defense.....our offense was out of date at the time.

In the baseball playoffs, isn't the system setup that you meet the same regions/teams before the finals each and every year? There isn't a draw is there?

No, in baseball the 16 regional champions now all play in Lexington and I think just like basketball the pairings are determined by a draw.
