Winning by 1 against a team that has now lost three games makes Auburn awesome? C'mon guys-get over the SEC bias.

Anyone else really dislike Greg McElroy? I think he's a punk. He's always rubbing big plays in opponents faces, he's the least likeable player in college football IMO.

Cam Newtown is a beast. His game is pretty polished, if he don't win the heisman then it will only be because of off the field actions.

First home loss for 'Bama since 2007.

With a game like this and the comeback does this all but lock the Heisman up for Newton? Can anyone make an argument that he is not only the best player in college football, but also the most valuable to his team? I have a hard time seeing anyone elses name called out when the winner is announced.

There really is no other person you could make an argument for, IMO. Heck, Nick Fairley may be the second best player in the country and worthy of the trip to NY.

I've got to give Auburn the credit they deserve. I didn't think they would beat Alabama. I thought it would be close just because of the heated rivalry and 'Bama never seemed to put it all together this year. But ultimately I thought Alabama was better than them.

 

I did not believe Auburn's defense was capable of holding the Tide to 3 points in a half. Kudos to the Tigers...an Auburn vs. Oregon title game could be the most entertaining in history. They may set a scoring record.

 

Its not that I didn't think Auburn deserved their ranking or that they weren't a very good team. But, I doubted that they were good enough to run the SEC gauntlet (even in a down year) unscathed. Of course, they could still get tripped up by the Ol' Ballcoach. Regardless, I'm giving them their due. They've stepped up in big moments every time they've had to. They get it done, plain and simple.

 

South Carolina had them beat earlier in the year? Can they make it that interesting again?
