Illinois VS Northwestern at Wrigley Field

Featured Replies

Sounds like they will only be using one endzone. Losers walk...

Saw this funny tweet :

RT @geo_sports: @slmandel if there is an interception, will the field just spin around like NCAA football on Xbox?

This game at Wrigley imo is now an official joke.

Only going towards one end, teams will have to keep switching and will disrupt flow of game.

What happens should there be a fumble/interception/kick-punt return for a TD?

Couldn't someone had thought of this before? :idunno:

Blame it on the Wrigley Billy Goat :D

Well if returning a punt, fumble or int the back of the enzones proximity to the wall doesn't matter right? The only thing that matters is crossing the goaline...

Right. The main concern for injury is running passing routes.

Everything was approved, including the layout, eight months ago. It was approved yet again last week when the field was finalized. I'm guessing had no pictures been released of the new layout, there wouldnt have been a change.

The biggest thing people are saying is how did the Bears play there and why don't they use that format, as in one endzone at centerfield.

Well, I guess they have added seats behind homeplate and can no longer go North/South. Just ridiculous to go through all these meetings and approve this and at the last minute change it. It's just too bad neither of these teams are really in the Big 10 title chase. Could you imagine the conference title coming down to something this stupid.

When the Bears played there the field went down the left field line, and the dugouts were in the endzone...
