I totally agree! Can't believe this happened. Flash back to last year losing Pawsat. The Royals played a hard fought game and left it all on the field tonight. Just hate to see it end this way!

Congrats to Belfry though. Hopefully a speedy recovery for Pawsat!

Congrats to Belfrey on a great game and the great crowd they brought. I feel really bad for Pawsett. I can't believe this happened to him two years in a row. I am not saying the result would have been different because Mason was having a hard time stopping their option attack. Mason's offense revolved around Pawsett's ability to throw the ball. Without him there was not much of an offense, it was the same play over and over. I just hope Pawsett can recover and get the opportunity to play at the college level. He is a great kid with a whole lot of talent. Good luck to Belfrey the rest of the way!

Sad and disappointing to see Pawsat hurt again. I was hoping for a game where both teams could play at full strength. Playing Pawsat on defense seemed like a huge gamble from the start.

Congratulations to Belfry on the win tonight. I don't play the "coulda shoulda woulda game". Looked to me like it was going to be a shootout with the winning team being the last one with the ball, but who knows which team. Belfry's offense was ckicking and Pawsat was 5-6 with over 100 yards in the first quarter. Had all the makings of a classic!

I figured something was up. Belfry is a good well coached team, but I did not think Mason was going to lose this game without some injury or other issues. Congratulations Belfry a win is win. Good season Mason 10-2 is nothing to be ashamed of.

Second guessing, and wondering what if isn't going to change a thing and Coach B and staff have built a strong Mason Co. Football program. So its obvious they know what they're doing. You make tough decisions as a coach, and if Coach B thought Pawsat was needed on defense, then he was. Pawsat was playing defense last night to replace the original starter in that position due to injury and being out.

 

It is so unfortunate that this happened to a great kid, Pawsat and great Royals team! They had a great season and you hate to see it end like this. Congrats to Coach B, his staff and the Ragin' Royals team on a great season!
