November 9, 201015 yr Mangini throwing a chew in on the sidelines is the least of the NFL's concerns. Might as well ban showing shots of people in the bleachers with beer in their hand too... Non-issue...
November 9, 201015 yr Ridiculous comparison. There is alcohol allowed to be served in the stadium and coaches are of age, I'm guessing they are not allowed to drink it on the sidelines. Chewing tobacco should be no different. It looks really bad. A serious Cleveland fan I know agrees it should stop. I know a few serious Cleveland fans and I have a hard time taking them seriously.
November 9, 201015 yr In Alabama I had two buddies who chewed, in the classroom, in the first grade. All the baseball players except me and maybe one more chewed.
November 10, 201015 yr Don't really hear anyone making a big stink about the amount of chew/dip used in MLB. Why is this an issue?
November 10, 201015 yr I think dipping is really nasty but I could care less if he does it or not. Agreed, dip away.
November 10, 201015 yr I'm with you. Who cares. :thumb: Who cares if he dips? It isn't hurting anyone else...
November 10, 201015 yr I guess there could be kids that see it, or think of Coaches as role models and think it's cool or okay. I don't care one way or another but..... FWIW, Parents and Family should be the role models. IMO.
