A bad two games for FSU. They should by all rights be undefeated in the ACC. Blow it from 4 yards out against NC State, and now blow a field goal (imagine that) against North Carolina. With this, they've possibly thrown away their shot at the ACC title. By now, they could have clinched the division.

I've always thought they were overrated. They got all kinds of hype for beating a mediocre Miami team. It is what it is.

There is no denying that Florida State has lost two straight they should have won, most especially the NC State game. Overrated or not, they should still only have the one loss to Oklahoma.

I don't think they're that much better than either team to be honest. Everyone in that conference is about the same I think with the exception of Virginia, Duke and Wake Forest and I think VT will prove to be better than everyone else in the conference. FSU has looked good in 1 game this season. I don't count the games against powderpuffs. They looked bad vs. BC, and average against NC State and today. After a while you have to call them like you see 'em. Sure they're more talented than NC State or a depleted UNC team, but FSU should be at 3 losses in a row. Take the Miami game out of the equation and FSU has done nothing this season. Actually beating Miami is pretty much nothing right now, but they get credit because at the time it was perceived as a great win.

I'll take Florida State to win against the Gators this season. I expect UF will sneak back into the polls this week though they don't deserve it and they will come back down to earth either next week (though SC may be on a slide so who knows?) or against FSU.

Ironically, I watched Zenyatta's jockey lose the Breeder's Cup and then watched FSU miss a 40 yard fg from the middle of the field to lose the game.......but I digress. Can anyone tell me what happened on the play in the 3rd quarter......it was something like 2nd and 30 and it appeared Ponder was hit late after throwing an interception and a flag was thrown. FSU then got the ball back and nothing changed. Does anyone remember that play that can tell me what happened? Was the flag for a late hit or were they just showing him get pummeled and why was the interception taken away?

I don't see it happening. Sure this 3 QB crap has worked the last two weeks, but the last time UF looked really good this year it turned out to be a farce. They have alot of holes, and someone will expose it. If they get by SC and FSU (I don't think they beat both), I see whoever wins the SEC West mopping the floor with them. LSU gets better every week, and Auburn has the new Tebow. And if somehow Bama got back in we all know how that went in round 1 this year. I say its a farce, they always pound Vandy, they almost always beat Richt.

The state of Florida will never belong to the Gators until they grow a pair and schedule the U on a regular basis. Sure they've been the best team in Florida over Meyer's tenure, but if you're afraid to play a rival team in your state for whatever reason you can't say you own that state IMO. Boise won't be able to claim Idaho, UF can't claim Florida.
