November 2, 201015 yr Author  Not sure. I should probably check that...I mean...it was important and all. The Mayoral race is pretty tight! But who is that Nimbus dude? November 02, 2010 - 07:18PM ET Mayor - Louisville - General Louisville mayor Kentucky - 37 of 527 Precincts Reporting - 7% Name Party Votes Vote % Heiner , Hal GOP 9,621 52% Fischer , Greg Dem 8,896 48% Mills , Jerry Ind 44 0% Couzin , Nimbus Ind 12 0% In all honesty I think he was a candidate you could've gotten behind...but he practically campaigned ZERO since '09. He could also be your archenemy as he owned a coffee shop and I recall seeing an anti-Starbucks quote from him.
November 2, 201015 yr Here we are with 18% reporting November 02, 2010 - 07:25PM ET U.S. Senate - General Kentucky - 652 of 3578 Precincts Reporting - 18% Name Party Votes Vote % Paul , Rand GOP 131,493 55% Conway , Jack Dem 106,391 45%
November 2, 201015 yr I knew Paul would take it in a landslide. The Conway team's strategy really blew up in their face. Way to many personal attacks imo. Furthermore, we don't need any more career politicians going to Washington. Doubt he will be able to accomplish anything though, that's a pipe dream on the "Hill" these days.
November 2, 201015 yr Author If nothing else I can take away from this election that I was totally right about Paul's chances from the very beginning. My very politically astute Grandfather told me he had a snowball's chance in hell...
November 2, 201015 yr Author Whas11 is saying Heiner and Fischer are separated by 34 votes...not sure on the % of precincts they have reported.
November 2, 201015 yr Whas11 is saying Heiner and Fischer are separated by 34 votes...not sure on the % of precincts they have reported. That's just crazy! The CJ says November 02, 2010 - 07:34PM ET Mayor - Louisville - General Louisville mayor Kentucky - 37 of 527 Precincts Reporting - 7% Name Party Votes Vote % Heiner , Hal GOP 9,621 52% Fischer , Greg Dem 8,896 48% Mills , Jerry Ind 44 0% Couzin , Nimbus Ind 12 0%
November 2, 201015 yr Didn't vote for Paul, but I wish him the best and support him as my elected Senator.
November 2, 201015 yr With 32% reporting: November 02, 2010 - 07:40PM ET U.S. Senate - General Kentucky - 1132 of 3578 Precincts Reporting - 32% Name Party Votes Vote % Paul , Rand GOP 225,526 53% Conway , Jack Dem 198,628 47%
November 2, 201015 yr RM, What about Lally and Yarmouth? November 02, 2010 - 07:40PM ET U.S. House - District 3 - General Kentucky - 242 of 515 Precincts Reporting - 47% Name Party Votes Vote % Yarmuth , John (i) Dem 60,116 54% Lally , Todd GOP 49,516 45% Martin , Edward Lib 920 1% Hansen , Michael Ind 592 1%
November 2, 201015 yr Sadly, it looks like Yarmuth is in. I am delighted! It makes up for the (probable) election of Rand Paul.
November 2, 201015 yr I guess it's a big win for the Tea Party, but I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised that Rand Paul won. Kentucky has had two Democratic senators in the last 54 years. To me it would have been a surprise if Conway had won, no matter the current anti-Obama, pro-Tea Party feelings among the electorate.
