Come on, you can't be serious.

I'd like to hear your perspective, and yes, I'm serious.

No...I literally think Rand Paul is a loon. Not at all the same.

It is the same. You think he's a loon because of the stuff he says, i.e. his stance. I think 95% of the things out of Obama's mouth are crazy. No difference.

Well fortunately your 2-year nightmare has ended for you guys. One would think with all the Republican rhetoric that Obama and the Democrats had locked them in a cellar for a thousand years. I'm really excited about all the good new ideas that are about to come our way!:D

Please do not lump me in with Republicans. That's almost (not quite), as bad as being called a Democrat.

No...it's not the same. I literally think the man has screws loose. It's not his polices. I seriously think he's as crazy as a loon. I know you think you are always right, but this time, you're dead wrong.

Relax UKMF. Just a little election night fun. You and I both know that there won't be one thing changed in Washington.

No fun! No fun! Thou shalt not have fun on election night! The 11th Commandment. Look it up...I know it's there. :D

No, I know. And my comment was made 100% tongue in cheek...I simply forgot the smiley at the end. I was making a joke. :D

You have to agree that a US Senator yields more clout, power, influence, etc, etc. Not even close.

Very much so...:thumb:

I don't look at it from that perspective. I actually think Congressman is my favorite vote to cast. Electing a congressman is the most personal vote I make. A Congressman represents the people in my area, not the State as a whole. I personally think it's more important than US Senator.

With 47% reporting:

November 02, 2010 - 08:13PM ET
U.S. Senate - General
Kentucky - 1694 of 3578 Precincts Reporting - 47%

Name Party Votes Vote %
check.gif Paul , Rand GOP 339,525 53%

Conway , Jack Dem 299,183 47%

I find it interesting that the margin is so slim still, with the Western KY results still coming in.

Oops, just updated with 54% Now the margin is 8%

November 02, 2010 - 08:16PM ET
U.S. Senate - General
Kentucky - 1808 of 3578 Precincts Reporting - 51%

Name Party Votes Vote %

You just nailed why I can't stand Yarmouth. He votes with Obama 99% of the time and couldn't care less about the folks back home.

This is probably the most surprising race of the night for me. Considering all the Anti-Abramson sentiment, I am surprised by this race:

November 02, 2010 - 08:16PM ET
Mayor - Louisville - General
Louisville mayor
Kentucky - 411 of 527 Precincts Reporting - 78%

Name Party Votes Vote %

Fischer , Greg Dem 99,017 51%

Heiner , Hal GOP 94,036 49%

Couzin , Nimbus Ind 364 0%

Mills , Jerry Ind 362 0%
