Yes he is. Guay may be out too. Shoulder re-injured against Pulaski. Elijah Mayes is out also.

What's wrong with Mayes?

What about Burris? Is he playing? I chatted briefly with Guay yesterday and he spoke like he would he playing. Guess we'll see.

Mapquest says 143 miles 2 hours and 46 minutes. I don't see them making it on a bus in less than 3.5 hours, especially if they stop anywhere. As for the game...Bell County is VERY good. The score of that game was 14-0 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd qtr. One of those scores was set up on a blocked punt. Admittedly the wheels fell off in the 4th but HC played Bell as well as anybody for 3 qtrs. I think this is a very angry group of Bears looking to take some frustration out on sombody. Unfortunatley the Titans are first in line. It may be close for a while but HC pulls away.....

Mercer's defense is struggling. Look at how many points they have been giving up. Offense does OK first quarter until the opponent adjusts, after that it is an up hill battle. Unless they do something different, results will be the same as the last several weeks.

Don't really know what Harlan has on the offensive and defensive lines but if they are strong up front Mercer will be in trouble. They just need those guys up front to get in the weight room they are just being dominated on both sides of the ball. They struggle to open holes on offense and they struggle to close them on defense and that is a bad combination.

I got to see Mercer play Boyle. They looked horrible. Unless new players have come on, Linemen have suddenly become stronger and better in technique, I don't see how they can beat Harlan County.
