Bad call on Heyward. Low and away.

It was a bad call, I agree.

Can't believe the Braves let this win get away.

I really do feel bad for Conrad. Let's hope he doesn't go all Donnie Moore on us.

Yeah, that would be bad. Hopefully he still gets benched though .

Conrad: "I feel absolutely terrible right now. I wish I could just dig a hole and go sleep in there."

Well talk about a horrible night. I come home to see that the Braves are down 1-0 in the 8th and Hinske is up and I get to see him hit a 2-run homerun to take the lead. Well I go to Pikeville, check ESPN on my iphone and I see that the Braves lose 3-2 and Conrad cost them the game.

I don't even plan on watching ESPN to see the plays that led up to it. It kills me because Hudson pitched a great game and the Braves should be up 2-1 with a chance to close at home.

BUT.....

All is not lost because if they win tomorrow it'll be game 5 in San Fran. I think the Braves are capable of beating the Giants BUT they have to step it up. Really sucks about losing Wagner because I think we would have won tonight had they had him.

What kind of fan are you? You left for Pikeville in the bottom of the 8th?

I was in a hurry and had to go...Where we bought a new house we had to get some things...And plus I figured they could handle it while I was away. I should have known better! I will never leave again.

The bitter pill of the night is definitely not having Wagner and the save being blown, possibly as a result of not having their closer. Conrad's defense proves just how devastating the injuries have been to the Braves. He's great for a pinch hitter, but painfully out of place in the field. I assume the loss means that Lincecum would be back in play for a potential Game 5, which is itself terrible news.

The Braves have to bear down and get the game tomorrow, but this was a very disheartening loss. All the good feelings from a couple of days ago have gone away.

Brook's glove looks small, when I played I used the biggest glove that they made, and the infielders who use the smaller one is...well missing the ball. 14" Rawlings, now I haven't bought one since 1996. I feel for the guy, 30 years old and has been in the Minors his whole career. The first error didn't hurt, Giants didn't score. Second one the right fielder has to call him off, but ...third one, see comment on the glove.

Brooks Conrad has been benched. Omar Infante will move to 2nd base, and Troy Glaus will start at 3rd base.

Pretty sure it's not the gloves fault. You can't play 2B effectively with a 14" glove.

You are right^^^but I played softball and I should have mentioned that. What would be wrong in using a 13" glove at second in baseball, both errors a larger glove might have helped.
