North Oldham 24 Henry County 9

Featured Replies

Wow !

I don't believe anyone on the North side of the fence saw this one unfolding quite like this.

In a nut shell:

a) Henry County had no answer in the first half for the North ground game.

b) Henry County coughed up a number of opportunities that North took full advantage of.

c) North was able to execute a pass or two that kept the defense honest and allowed our QB to settle a bit in the pocket. Hat's off to all the

guy's in the trenches.

d) Heart and determination really showed up in Teal and White last night.

Big and needed win for this team.

Did we turn a corner at just the right time ?

Well done by all !

Made it to what I thought would be a good game, Henry County was awful in all phases first half, and Stayed awful on offense second half. North had a nice game plan it seemed. Congrats to North. I was rooting for the Wildcats but had a feeling this might end up the case.

Why did Henry Co. try a fake punt on 4th and 20 while on there own 30? 5 turnovers seemed to doom Henry Co. too.

Nice job Mustangs! Congrats to Coach Martin and the boys and a good win on the road!

North came in and gave us a beating. They proved that you don't have to get to fancy to win big games. They beat us at the line of scrimmage wich suprised me greatly, since we pretty much dominated the same team last year. Good luck to North from here on out ,and hopefully Henry's not done yet either.

Too bad the new districts break up what had become a real good rivalry game between North and Henry County.

I hope they at least keep scheduling each other as non district games.

I hope we keep playing too. As a fan it's turned into one of those games you hate to lose and love to win.

We hope so, but the district is just one game at a time. Young team must refocus and play one play at a time this week again!

I like N.O. chances with Spencer. This district is still wide open. It will be fun to watch. I will pobably go to that game. N.O. has a swagger right now.

HC's D was bad enough in the first quarter to dig a hole they couldn't get out of. They need to be a 1st half team or this game will be like groundhog day.

I would agree with that.
