North Oldham/Henry County predictions?

Featured Replies

Curious about this one, North runs the ball well and Henry throws it well. Who wins out?

Predicting the winner is a no brainer. Henry County takes it with ease. The only thing to predict about this game is when the running clock starts. i say Henry will be so dominant that the running clock starts with 2:12 left in the third quarter.

Governor Jake, you are just trying to stir the pot.

The GOV is a W-Hills FAN!

Henry should win, but they have not defended very well against the run this year, they do throw well but they can also run the ball.

From the stats on the KHSAA website, Henry does not run the ball well nor stop the run well.......?????

Henry by 14.

Our running back doesn't have a lot of yards on the books but he has scored 9 tds.

This will be a good game. Both teams know a lot about each other so it will come down to who will execute the best. And maybe the turnover margin.

If.....and being honest that's a big if...North can defend the long ball better than they have so far this year and eliminate costly penalties they can compete with Henry County. North has yet to put out a complete game and come together against a quality team.

Still very young but it's time to start seeing some strides made and a fire in the gut.

Could it be that this young North Squad will out hit Henry? Folks I talked to inside Norths program seem to think so..............?

North won't be able to stop Magness , Hartlage , Hall , or Allgeier. Ask the folks at Anderson. Look for the Defense to come alive.

Hey Mustang Nation, after football season, do you also coach basketball at North ? Maybe you should move to Frankfort and use your expertise to help our football program at W-Hills.

Expertise ?? Humm. Easy from the cheap seats comes to mind. I don't think I'm politically correct enough to keep the soccer moms happy with my "coaching style" Old school baby. Plenty of water and salt tablets... but in your face man up challenges, conditioning, conditioning, conditioning and hit to make a lasting impression. I can hear "The Boys of Fall" playing in the background. I'm tearing up.

Basketball at North ought to be very interesting this year with new coach Dave Henley in charge. This looks to be a huge win for North to have him at the helm and he's got some real good talent coming up so I believe I'll stay on the grid iron with my razor sharp analysis.

Does it appear that Collins will likely emerge as North Oldham's "new" big rival with the new districts in place next year ?

If North can't get to Magness they can't win. HC had one of the best defensive performances of the year against North last year and I'm hoping for more of the same this year.
