Big district game for both teams , who do you like and why?

I think that this will be a great game. I will be pulling for the Musketeers in this one good luck GC.

Another big game for Greenup Co. .. Lawrence Co. is a good team but lost a game to a team that has only won two games this year. If LC can run on GC they can win the game. For a team that plays ball control on offense GC gives up alot of points. GC will only throw 3 to 5 times a game. GC can be a very physical team. LC will have to match the physicalness of the game. GC will be on the road and maybe that will turn the luck around after losing to Rowan Co at home in the last minute or two. I think GCHS wins in a close one!!

It is hard to pick this one. GC has a good offensive coach but that is it. They don't have a very good coaching in defense, or special teams . This will be the deciding factor in this one. I am of course a GC fan, so I will be cheering for them on Friday night. Good luck GC !!!!!!!!!!!!!

LC has always been a difficult place to play. But I think GC can control the clock and I suspect a slim GC victory.

GCHS in a tough close game, we have something to prove and after watching film of last weeks game, it's personal too... GCHS is not happy and they are ready to play very physical with a good Lawrence County team.

I tend to agree with the trend of this thread that GC pulls the slightest of upsets and wins this one.

Greenup keeps the ball for 30 minutes and wins a close one. 28-21 Musketeers.

If Greenup County will come out and play like they did last week and eliminate the penalties they have a great chance to win although the defense they face this week will be just a tad tougher than Rowan County . I don`t think the yardage will come as easy.

What was on film that upset everyone so bad?

I am going to go against what seems to the majority predicting a GCHS victory. I am going to take Lawrence. The Bulldogs are at home, they also have a heck of a football team. Lawrence can score in bunches when they get rolling and make no mistake, The Bulldogs will hit people.When the great fans/ Lawrence Bulldog crowd gets behind them and it makes LC that much more of a difficult place to play. Louisa is a football town, they are passionate about their team.

Although both teams are well coached I also believe that Lawrence has the edge in the coaching dept..

This is a great matchup! Both teams are very physical. Greenups offense just rushed for 500+yds last week. Lawrence Co's defense has been playing as good as any D they've had since 92-93 team. That matchup will determine the game I think. Can't wait! Should be a great atmosphere with two blue collar teams!

This will be a great high school football game! I think LC's weak schedule leaves them a bit unprepared. But, I think they will survive the shock to the system at home. I have to give the edge to LC until someone in the district beats them - they were undefeated last year (regular season).
