They are 3-1 with the loss coming to Boyle County. They play Hazard on the road this week, so judging by the rankings, Corbin should be a big underdog. We should know more about this team after this game and the GRC game the following week. Corbin's young and start a freshman and a couple of sophomores on the OL and 8-9 underclassman total, so they should get better by playoff time after those kids get some experience.

Over which team?

I just don't see how they can be excluded from the top 10 with 1 loss, which was to one of the best teams in the state. I would put them over any body listed 7-10.

You said they were a top-5 team, didn't you? If so, which top-5 team would you put them over?

They were beat by one of the better teams in the state, but they haven't really taken down any world beaters. Just losing to a good team does not mean you have a tough schedule.

Not only Corbin, but what happened to Ft. Campbell? I know that I have been away for a while and sometimes don't keep track on the teams down west as much as I should, but the last few years they were the dominant force in 2 A.

Tough schedule, and injuries have plaqued them! Things will turn around soon for the FC Falcons...wait and see!

Fort Campbell is outside the Class 2A Top 10 for the first time since the first week of the 2006 season -- a span of 47 weeks.

I think they will be back very soon...Maybe it is just me being partial to a Falcon, but we shall see very soon!

Right now FC doesn't deserve to be ranked in the top #10.

 

FC has the talent to be ranked in the top # 3, but unrealized potential means nothing.

 

FC should be respectable the rest of the way, even though so far this season it would appear we are playing for the #1 pick in the draft.
