3 in a row? Wow you must be really good.

At that point I was. Is that average?

And I'd love for you to tell me what day they were 16 games above .500?

August 13. You're welcome.

No, you're obviously way above average.

What do you know, ole Patrick Starr was finally right about something.

Starr, get serious. There's not way to say St. Louis is anything better than an average baseball team. No way around it.

Seriously. Do you guys argue with your baby sister this much? Let it go. Can't you tell he's just trying to get a rise out of you?

It's not like I have anything better to do than argue with him.

Right now they are way worse and I'm not arguing that. My point was that nobody would have predicted them to fall on their face like they have since the swept the Reds at home to take a 1 game lead.

I thought you were going to school. Study maybe?

Don't have class tomorrow. Got cancelled. I've got all weekend to study.

They hadn't been beating the bad teams all season. They have a winning record against teams over .500 I believe. And a bad record against teams under .500. That was going to catch up with them sooner or later. That's why they play 162 games. Any team can get hot for 2-3 weeks. It's about avoiding long losing streaks and beating who you're supposed to beat. Cincy has done that and St. Louis hasn't.

Cardinals win 4-0. Well hopefully we can see the # drop by 2 tomorrow. I like the Latos -Loshe matchup for the Padres. Cueto vs. Rodriquez should be a good one. I hope the Reds can scratch out enough runs for a win for Cueto. Wandy has been extremely tough the 2nd half of the year, and the Reds have struggled against some very average lefties at best lately.

I don't have any younger siblings, so PS it is.......

Did I think St. Louis would play this poorly the rest of the season after they swept Cincinnati? No.

But after that series I still thought Cincinnati was going to win the division because they beat the teams they are supposed to beat and played very good on the road. Until the last 2 weeks or so anyway.

The same could never be said for St. Louis
