Pike threw two interception had 2 fumbles but Dixie recovered one of them.

Then after Conner scores to make it 41-26 with less than 2:43 in the game, Pike is the QB and is running the ball and in fact with less than 15 seconds left in the game and Dixie 4 yards out from the goal line and scoring, Pike instead of taking a knee to end the game, tries to score a TD by running the ball in but is stopped. Just seemed strange to me!

Hate to tell you this UK#1fan but Dixie will be a 6A school next year and Conner will be a 5A school next year. Yes indeed it is next year but.......

Pike's rushing was impressive. Conner's secondary had trouble tackling him all night.

 

I thought Dixie's line stepped up big both ways. Good solid game out of Spritzky and boys.

Attended and watched the NCC vs Dixie game at Nippert!

 

Game was over, and the only thing that could have happened or gone wrong at that point to Dixie, was for Pike to take a hit to his knee get hurt. Pike gets hurt and the Dixie season is over!

Good Game Dixie. Pike is much better running the ball then I thought. Dumb playing him the last series. If he gets hurt Dixie's season is shot.
