I don't like to mess with a kid who has commited to a University...Mr. Parker, good luck in the future.

Did Mr. Parker have (another) outstanding game? (All I know about this game is the score.)

I think he had three TDs.

He's one good football player.

Ballard is definitely among the top teams in Louisville if not the state this year. Taking X to the wire and flattening Central like this is one heck of an accomplishment.

 

I am very happy that we play the Bruins at home this season. They scare me this year.

Good thing for Central there are six classes in Kentucky.

What kind of team does Central have this year?

Central has one tough none district schedule, but come district time they'll win it easily.

Parker (UL signee) had 7 catches for 227 yards and 3 TD's. Central junior RB, Anthony Wales, had 30 carries for 170 yards. He was averaging 237 ypg coming in.

Honestly, isn't this 'messiah' stuff getting a little tired? Especially for what is and should always be a TEAM sport!

 

I'm starting to wonder if the constant references to this nonsense has roots in some kind of ulterior motive??? If it's what I think it might be, TRUST me, Trinity is a class program who will prepare for us perfectly...they don't need to have their competition elevated to some kind of 'David' to get their kids to keep them from a 'Goliath' complex. (you guys can get biblical, so can we).

 

I completely understand and agree with 'it's a free country' and 'freedom of speech' and all that...but come on; if you respect what the game of HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL is really about, why can't this site -- obviously the most important one in the state for high school football -- quit trying to make HS football like the NBA marketers do (all about 'individuals')?

...so, back to what REALLY matters.

 

Central has a very nice team. Much better in person than they even looked on film. As is well-known, their coaching staff is doing a very good job. Was very impressed with them up front on both sides of the ball as well as the leg strength of their running backs. They should ROLL through 3A this year.

In all fairness, Trinity fans aren't crowning anyone with "messiah". That's guru. We (Trinity fans) have a GREAT respect for Ballard and you, CoachJ. But we're not at all in any way trying to disrespect football, you, Ballard, or any other team. We are very respectful of both you and your program. And yes, you are correct, it is a team sport. But I must say, you have infused an element missing, and I think you should both be proud of that, and take credit for it.
