Final from Ft. Thomas....:ylsuper:

Birds had their way tonight. Great performance!! What a fun group to watch!

Any word on the boy that was injured for CC. Heard it was a nasty break. Hope all is well and he gets better soon.

It was a very nasty break, I feel the kid and hope he can come back next season and continue playing football. Birds frosh are big up front and the Hayes kid is going to be a major player in Northern Kentucky. I was impressed with the Howard kid from Campbell he runs hard and was tough to tackle.

Last I heard...At half time from a friend of the family...Was dislocated ankle. Unsure if it was fractured. Best of luck to him for a speedy recovery.

I am not taking anything away from the Highlands team because I heard they played a very good game but I do know once the CC player had went down with his injury it deflated Campbell County. I would have to say this was probably the worst injury they had ever seen.

Congratulations to the Highlands freshman team for such an impressive win! Best wishes for the injured CCHS player.

I was in the stands very close to the action on this play and it was very difficult to see as a parent. It was nice to see the boy try to show he was OK in obvious pain as he was being carted into the ambulance. We wish him the best and a speedy recovery!

All the best to the injured young man. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

I have heard this same comment from many parents who were at the game. For those players who were there supporting the freshman team I think it shook them up as well. I did not see the injury on the field but I heard it was a very ugly injury for anyone to see. From what I have heard the prognosis is good for this player.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Logan Schneider # 74 suffered a compound fracture of his lower left left leg above the ankle. It was set at Children's Hospital last night but they couldn't get it lined up perfectly. Dr. Colosimo was able to surgically reset it sucessfully this morning and they/we are hopeful for a full recovery. Thanks again and we appreciate your kind thoughts. The Schneider Family

Oh my goodness, that is horrible. Thoughts and prayers go out to Logan and his family for a quick and pain-free recovery.

Great game for the Bluebirds. Is the Jalen Hayes youngman the next Mikes Simpson? Sorry to hear about the youngman that was injured from Campbell.

Way to early to call but the kid has a ton of talent. I would expect him to fly up the depth chart. When he learns it is OK to make people miss in the open field instead of punishing tacklers, watch out!
