September 1, 201016 yr I just accepted a job with a new Arena team here in Northern Kentucky called the Northern Kentucky Rivermonsters. We will be having a press conference at the Bank of Kentucky Center September 2nd at 2 oclock if anyone is interested in seeing and learning more about the team. We will also be playing our home games at the Bank of Kentucky Center in early Feb. I will be helping out with sponsorships and season tickets. I really think this can work in this area and the facitlity is beautiful. I hope you all can help me out and support the team. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks in advance :thumb::thumb:
September 2, 201016 yr I think this is great for however long it lasts, but "rivermonsters"? They couldn't come up with a better name?
September 2, 201016 yr Author No I am taking the General Manager of the team. And about the team name the Owner really liked it. It is like the TV show. To me it's a perfect arena team name. I love the graphics they did with it. It really will be fun and I hope everyone enjoys it.
September 2, 201016 yr Sounds great. The venue should be perfect for something like this. Hopefully NKY takes a liking to it and supports it. I know its been tough for the teams at the US bank arena.
September 2, 201016 yr Seems like if they wanted to keep everything hush hush until the presser, the team name wouldn't have been leaked already...lol.

September 2, 201016 yr I figured the name had something to do with the Ohio River...just glad that Ohio or Cincinnati isn't in the name...my submission for the team name was RiverBandits...a play off the non-existent riverboat gambling on the Kentucky side of the river. I don't mind RiverMonsters but wouldn't be surprised if the people from the TV have a problem with it...you know how those TV folks are with naming rights...lol.
September 2, 201016 yr How much do you think they'll charge for tickets Penn? If the NKY team is like the rest of the teams who have given prices, they should be uniform all the way around and not too bad. Below are the ticket prices I found from the other teams who have announced so far: Johnstown Generals Canton Cougars Huntington Hammer
September 2, 201016 yr Well with some crafty alterting with website URLs, I found the website for the NKY River Monsters...lol... http://nkyrivermonsters.com/ Ticket information is on there as well
