When they named this kid Skip, did they know he was gonna be small in stature? Really, are there any guys that are 6'9 285lbs named Skip?

I hate the Cardinals. Not sure how long it's been since I've made it known. Just wanted to make it crystal clear.

1000000% agree

Albert Pujols says of Colby Rasmus: "We need to figure a way to get him out of here."

Rolen with a line drive up the middle with a set of testacles on it would be good here.

He hit Rolen. Rolen makes Pujols look like a kid on first. Never really paid much attention to how ginormous that cat is.

Stay hot Johnny. Don't argue, it was a good pitch. Enjoy some pine.

How is Gomes going to complain about that pitch?

Right down the middle Jonny....

Huh? When and why did he say that? I'll give them Heisey for him.

Right down mainstreet, Johnny. Quit griping and take a seat.

Article isn't up yet just a tid bit out of it. Rasmus requested to be traded again.

Hannigan just missed a hanger.

This isn't the correct article but it's about the situation.

In response to a report in Sunday's St. Louis Post Dispatch that Rasmus had asked for a trade earlier this season, La Russa said that he had spoken to Rasmus about it and was convinced that he had a change of heart: "He realized the grass isn't always greener."

When reporters approached Rasmus, his answers were cryptic and non-commital. Asked about La Russa's contention that Rasmus was happier now with the Cardinals, Rasmus said: "If that's what he said, I don't have a comment on that."

Asked if he was happy with the Cardinals, he said: "I'd rather not answer that if I don't have to."

Asked if he wanted to be back next year, he said: "I'm not going to say either way. I come in and play hard either way."

So they're going to trade their third most productive hitter?

Seems like a good idea for a team that struggles to score.
