Went to Goetta Fest last night after seeing "The Other Guys " which btw was very good . Had Goetta Calzones from the PaPa Johns booth . Good Sandwhich wish that this was a regular menu Item .

Sweet Tooth right around the corner from me in Newport makes them. FANTASTIC!!!

We will be at Coldstone Creamery across from the Florence Mall at 2 this afternoon; must be the weekend for getting our NKY ice cream fixes.

Did they go to Schneider's in Bellvue? Why eat a sno cone without ice cream? It's fantastic.

 

So that's at least two places in NKY that makes them, and I had never heard of them. I must lead a cloistered life.

COVINGTON, Ky. - Road construction at the intersection of Mall Road and Burlington Pike (KY 18) near Florence Mall could slow traffic for the next month.

As part of the Mall Road project in Florence, Ky., contractors will be at work at the intersection and there will be only one lane for traffic in that area, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 warns. Motorists should use Exit 180 A or Exit 180 to get to Mall Road to avoid delays.

 

I also believe that the north bound I-75/71 exit ramp at Route 18 exit is closed today (Sunday) due to working on the bridge that crosses over that exit!

But didn't they change owners? I thought I heard that a few years back when I mentioned to someone that it didn't taste like the ones I had way before then.

That's the one. We took the little church tour this year. Very interesting how the interior is laid out.

 

My company is actually a major sponsor of the Panegyri. I'd be willing to guess you've seen me there a time or two - I usually spend more time than I should grazing over all the food there. ...one of these days I'll learn a little self restraint.

I went down and they said the coney eating contest was already full so I just took in a movie and came back to campus. Wish I coulda been in it but I used that money to watch a movie so all is not lost...lol.
