iPhone 4 - available starting June 15th

I am a big iPhone guy. I bought my unlocked iPhone 3G on eBay last summer and love it. It looks with the iPhone 4 they have addressed any shortcomings of previous iPhones and more. New features include

FaceTime - watch the video ..very very cool

Retina display

Multitasking - big complaint of iPhone users

HD Video recording and editing

5MP Camera with LED Flash

It looks like they have taken on the Android phone challenge head on. It is absolutely amazing what you can do on a mobile phone today. I'll till I can get one for 300-400 bucks on eBay and hopefully get about 200 bucks for my 3G.

I may look into selling my 3Gs and getting one if the price diff isn't awful. I've had this one for 7 months and keeping it in the otter box case has kept it flawless.

I wish I could stop being tortured and have the iPhone at Verizon. The iPhone 4 looks incredible.

The Iphone 4 will be the greatest phone ever, or at least until some other phone comes out.

There are so many features that will be a first for a phone. I can not wait, hopefully I can sell my iphone to buy one.

You can always but an unlocked iPhone on eBay. I had mine up and running and receiving my work MS Exchange email and placing calls within 5 minutes.

Iphone 4 will not be available until June 24th, not the 15th.

You are correct. I meant to say you can pre-order the phone on June 15th.

I always was under the impression the iPhone ran on a different type of network (I believe it's GSM) than the CDMA that Verizon runs on. If I was able to get an iPhone for Verizon, I would surely do it.

What network are you on?

I would strongly advise against unlocking the iPhone...

Not sure when my contract is up, I got the 3GS the day it came out, so not sure when that was, but I'll def have this one as soon as possible!

Anyone else just going to use the app update until this thing gets all the kinks worked out?

Last I heard, Verizon is set to release the iPhone on their network this fall.

That was last summer. I got mine the same time.

I will but mainly because I'm not paying full price for it. I still have several months on my contract. I would also like to see if verizon does indeed get the Iphone. I have been less then thrilled with AT&T's 3G service.

The last article I read said it will depend on whether or not Apples renews AT&T's exclusive contract. If they do it will be 2012 before Verizon gets it.
