I would much rather see Corbin in there with Leslie, Breathitt and Middlesboro. It would make a much more competitive district and Corbin wouldn't have such a cake walk almost every year.

I did not realize that Corbin is actually closer(approx 2 hrs.) to Breathitt Co. and Knott Co. than Middlesboro is(approx. 2 1/2 hrs.), so it would not surprise me to see Corbin move to the east and join the district with M'boro, Breathitt, Leslie, Knott and Cawood. That would be a pretty strong district every year.

I'm not sure what they would do with the district that Corbin is currentyly in though, maybe move Larue Co., Washington Co. and E-town into it.

Heard Martin was a good possiblity. Freeman probably not a good posiblity even though he said it felt better. You may see him dress though.

Martin is done with a broken arm Lance may dress but won"t be ready till round 2.

I would just about bet dollars to dimes that when Cawood joins up with Cumberland and Evarts to form Harlan County High, we will see Corbin take their place in the district.

Corbin may struggle early, but should pull this one out.

Corbin by 3 scores.

No room for struggles in play-off time. Corbin comes out fast and stays that way :ylsuper:

Corbin 21 Washington County 12.

Washington Co. passes the "look-test" with several very good athletes on their team. One of their main problem areas this year has been the penalty, which may have cost them a couple of games, but they seem to have all the ingredients necessary to win this game if things go their way.

They are a very dangerous opening round opponent, especially if they get off to a good start and keep their heads in the game. Corbin will need to play their A-game and not allow themselves to get caught up in any extra-curricular type activities that take their focus off of the game, because it appears to me that it's going to be a Dawg-fight Friday night.

Corbin 34 - Washington Co. 28

Let's not forget about Josh Sanders, Soph. He has been out since the Bell Co. game. He showed a lot of heart early on for Corbin.

Corbin 35

Wash Cnty 21

Let's not forget about Josh Sanders, Soph. He has been out since the Bell Co. game. He showed a lot of heart early on for Corbin.

I would feel better about tonight's outcome if Josh were able to play, he was one of the Hounds' better players on the defensive side of the ball.

josh martin is getting bigger and stronger every day i think josh martin will be a non-stoping MLB
