With the loss of their best player from last season (Sorrell) , and getting knocked out by Owen in the regional tourney I would say they struggle early and improve toward the end of the season. Chambers is fun to watch play!

I think you may be correct, many players are playing football so they will likely be a little slow out of the gates.

You may be right Neerfan. I heard that Sampson was playing football as well, leaving only a few players on the 'basketball only' list. However, the most important player for this team should be ready to carry them early- Cody Chambers.

 

Markesberry must be doing a heck of a job selling the program- it was rumored that Sampson's football days were over.

Is Sampson finished growing? He has been that size since 8th grade. Also, there was a nice quick guard on the SK Frosh last year and it wasnt any of the sophs on this roster. I cant think of his name but he attacked the basket well and was quick.

I also have no reason to believe Bo Lockard or Zach Carrol will be on the team either. If Simon Kenton want's a banger from the football team I'd assume it would be Austin Baldwin.

At 8PM tonight the SK basketball show is on 1160AM.

On the coaches show Steiner said they have only had one round of cuts and are waiting for the football players to take a week off but Rabe, Bach and Reilly are already practicing.
