I look forward to watching SK's big boy (can't remember his name ) #44. His progression will be fun to watch.

The sophomore class at SK will be very good and should develop well. Sampson,Swanson and Bowling should earn plenty of varsity minutes.

This may be the year SK surprises everyone and wins the region. Under the radar, yet talented enough to win.

Nick Gray fractured his wrist Tuesday @ the team camp. Should be out 6 to 8 weeks

SK's bigs will be a key, I look forward to seeing the progression of Jr Doss (#44), and I think Rabe will be much improved in the paint. The wings are strong with Chambers, Sampson, Mullen, Swanson, Gray, Riley and the rest of the bunch.

I stand corrected- bad sprain for Nick Gray's wrist- should be back in 2-3 weeks. His experience with the Shining Stars this summer has really helped. From what I've seen they look pretty good. 9 or 10 pretty solid players. If the stars align just right this team could make some noise in the 8th Region

Gray is a fiery player, hopefully he gains a little muscle to his frame to go along with his mentality.

I was told today that Highlands may be heading out to Independence next week to scrimmage the Pioneers at Summit View.

I drove by last week and was afraid to get too close. Hopefully this will be the end of the construction for a while. How many times can they redo the parking lot?

Any word on transfers into SK for the fall? I believe they added Doss from Boone last year.

David Stephenson 6'7 207 is a transfer from Holmes he is playing football. I am sure he will be playing basketball with that size.
