June 9, 201016 yr Larry, Christians as a group are not discriminated against. Individuals probalby are in isolated examples. You can't name me one religion or race that hasn't been discriminated against. White males have been discriminated against plenty of times but that doesn't mean white males as a group are victims of discrimination.

One third Christians also believe they are discriminanted against. I have so much more but my thread times out and I have already lost one and it was very long with examples, but I don't understand Discrimination? Isn't John Oliver one of the "reporters" on The Daily Show?
June 9, 201016 yr Larry, it seems to me that what you're complaining about is the recoil some people have -- myself included -- when others overzealously foist their religion/beliefs upon unwelcome recipients. Most people (Christians or otherwise) just aren't comfortable with others throwing bibles at them or changing the topic of every conversation to religion-related topics.

To be fair, there have been scads of Christian schools and academies pop up in the last decade or so, and it's hard to keep track of which ones are fly-by-night and which ones are legit.

But you haven't shown discrimination. Have you shown how a Muslim, Hindu, etc, teacher was allowed to pray while a Christian teacher in the same system was fired for doing so? That would be discrimination. However, you are choosing not to see this, so I will not spend any more time on this issue. On the Krispy Kreme issue, I've googled "Krispy Kreme and Bible Christian School" and can't find anything on it. Without a corresponding link, I have no idea why the school didn't quality, but it's very possible that it has nothing to do with the school's religious association. It is possible that the business was going off of a list of accredited schools, so that I couldn't just walk up with a "report card" from the "Bluegrass Preparatory School" with all A's and expect free donuts. FWIW, I did not mean that you had called me out. I was referring to another thread. I have never felt anything but respect from (and toward) you, Larry.

I said "its a long time to kickoff." Can someone post the word according to Websters for me, the only one I could find was "being treated Unfairly".

June 9, 201016 yr Doesn't everyone feel like they're discriminated against in some form or fasion in this country. I know minorities and women certainly do, they gripe about enough anyway.
